Our small class format has been designed to provide an engaging, supportive, and collaborative space with weekly 2-hour live Zoom lessons. You will gain access to our custom PowerPoint presentations, Student Workbooks, and recordings of lessons. We also conduct individual progress calls, provide 24/7 assistance from an experienced chemistry tutor, and give access to our tailor-made practice exam.
The most challenging aspect of achieving a good ATAR is properly transitioning from Year 10 to Year 11. Senior school covers content faster and there is a greater breadth of material. With our classes, students will get to cover the complete Chemistry syllabus at a manageable pace with personalised teaching. We will ensure students can receive the best marks by focusing on understanding and application of the fundamental concepts.
Academic History
We graduated from Radford College in 2020 and both completed Specialist Mathematics, Specialist Methods, Chemistry, Physics, English, and ANU Extension Chemistry.
We achieved ATARs of 99.85 (joint highest at Radford in 2020) and 99.65, were both in the top 3 of Chemistry at Radford (1st and 3rd ranked), and both achieved High Distinctions in ANU Extension Chemistry (including 1st ranked).
We are currently doing a research science degree (PhB) at the ANU (Jeffrey) and medicine at Monash (Xander).

Tutoring Focus
High school mathematics can be daunting and challenging, it requires problem solving skills and ways of thinking that are not developed in earlier years. Throughout high school many students are often turned against maths, this initial challenge is met with frustration as they are often not shown the bigger picture or effective problem-solving methods.
In high school maths, the rote learning approach of memorizing formula and applying repetitive steps is not going to be enough to solve difficult problems and concepts. When solving these problems, a strong fundamental understanding of the topics, questions and methods is required. When tutoring my focus will be to give students the necessary foundation to help reach their goals in learning and hopefully find a lifelong passion for mathematics.
